We are a fellowship of Christians who are members of the NSW Police Force. Many have found that it is possible to be a committed Christian in the Police Force. However, with the rigours of shift work and other commitments, it is often difficult for officers to be fully involved in the life of their church. We believe that fellowship with other believers is important and especially with those who understand the problems associated with police work.
The CPF is run for members of the police Force by members of the Police Force both current and retired.
Membership helps focus your faith, provides fellowship as a Christian in the police force and increases the profile of the CPF within the Police Force allowing representation of the CPF as an official staff support group. Membership is required for office holders within the CPF.

In an age of growing lawlessness, the police stand in the front line. All police officers and staff need the support of their community. Any Christian who has a desire to see the kingdom of God advanced in the Police Force, and supports the aim of the CPA, can become an Associate Member.
Technically, Catherine Gurney, founder of the Christian Police Association in the UK, would have been an Associate Member, which goes to show the value of this type of membership.
